Tara Burniston
Tara Burniston graduated from Trenton State College in 1994 with a degree in Mathematics Education. She taught 8th grade math at Veterans Memorial Middle School from 1994-1997 and then in 1997 she began teaching at South Brunswick High School. She has taught all levels of mathematics at SBHS, including working in the James Kimple Center. She is a co-advisor of both the SBHS Math team and Math Honor Society as well as a District Mentor Trainer. She began coaching Bowling at SBHS in 2002 and has led the teams to numerous GMC Division, GMC Conference and Group IV State Sectional titles as well as Group IV State Championships and a Tournament of Champions. She was named NJSIAA State Coach of the Year, NJSCA State Coach of the year and was inducted into the NJSCA Coaching Hall of Fame in 2017. Her overall record is 285-59-21.
